Speaker: Dr. Asta Zelenkauskaite, assistant professor, culture and communication

Think everyone’s “online” these days?  You may be right!  People who contribute to online environments in our social-media-centric world tend to be the rule, not the exception.  In this talk, Dr. Asta Zelenkauskaite will trace the impact of social media in our lives, analyzing the implications, communicative practices, and challenges of online communication in the digital age, while examining its application in specific areas such as healthcare.
