Event Description
Please join the Student Center for Inclusion and Culture for a screening and discussion of the film The Dark Side of Chocolate. The Dark Side of Chocolate focuses on the exploitation and slave trading of African children to harvest chocolate, a practice that is still occurring nearly ten years after the cocoa industry pledged to end it. Learn how to purchase your own Fair Trade Chocolate for Valentine’s Day along with how to support the Fair Trade movement in other ways. Free samples of Fair Trade Chocolate will be provided.
