Event Description
Come out and support your fellow dragons at the 14th Annual College of Arts and Sciences Research Days on Monday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 18, 2014. CoAS Research Days highlight the significant contributions of student scholars and researchers at both the graduate and undergraduate level.

 

After the success of last year’s new oral presentation category, this year’s event will feature TWO DAYS of research, with the first reserved for oral presentations and the second for poster presentations. Check out the full schedule below for exact times, locations and details.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2014
  • 12 – 1 p.m. Participant Sign-In
  • 1 – 3 p.m. Oral Presentations*
Location: Behrakis Grand Hall, Creese Student Center (32nd and Chestnut Streets)

*Student work will be presented in oral format and judged by a committee of faculty members. Judging criteria includes the quality of oral and visual presentation, the clear demonstration of progress, the level of student involvement in the project, and the overall importance of the work.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2014
  • 9 – 11 a.m. Participant Sign-In
  • 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Poster Presentations*
  • 2:15 - 3:30 p.m. Raft Debate
  • 3:30 p.m. Reception & Awards Ceremony
