Event Description
University and community panelists including Warrior Writers discuss The Yellow Birds by Kevin Powers and reflect on the role of the arts and humanities in the exploration and expression of war.
 
Drexel University, a Military Friendly School, will draw upon its campus resources to celebrate a great book and to pay homage to student-veterans.
 
It is recommended that you read the book prior to attending the event. Copies are available at the Drexel University Bookstore on the University City campus.
 
A light reception will start at 5:30 p.m. followed by the panel at 6:30 p.m.
