An Evening of African American Music featuring Gospel Choir and Jazztet

Event Description
The Gospel Choir will be paying tribute to late singer-songwriter, Rev. Gabriel S. Hardeman. Mr. Hardeman was the founder of the Gabriel Hardeman Delegation. He was most popularly known for the gospel hits Feel Like Fire and To the Chief Musician. He also collaborated with various artists around the country, including Edwin Hawkins, the Tri-State Mass Choir, the Wilmington-Chester Mass Choir, Teddy Pendergrass, and Stephanie Mills. The choir will be performing selections written by MR. Hardeman.

The Jazztet celebrates Black History Month with repertoire from the legends of jazz and gospel music.
Everyone is invited to this free event in the Mandell Theater.
