Black History Month-Remembering a Life of Change - Nelson Mandela

Event Description

The Good Idea Fund presents; In an effort to memorialize and celebrate the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela this event will start with an overview of Mandela’s life with a large focus on his activism. The event will then include poetry, song, short stories, dance, pictures, media clips and quotes which will have the themes of overcoming racism, equality and peace building, reconciliation or celebrate the legacy of Nelson Mandela. These art forms will be both self-created or existing artistic expressions performed by our Drexel community. Refreshments will be served.
