Event Description The Paul-Elder Critical Thinking Framework provides the context for this WIRED (Welcoming, Inclusive, Respectful, Engaging and Diverse) diversity training. This training aims to increase sensitivity to personal implicit bias and prejudice in learning environments by enhancing critical thinking. Participants engage in facilitated Socratic conversation that increases “thinking about one’s own thinking,” (e.g., self-assessment of one's own assumptions and worldview) and understanding of other perspectives.
