Event Description Ravi K. Ponnappan, MD, clinical associate professor in the department of orthopaedic surgery - spine in Drexel's College of Medicine, will discuss how spinal cord injury is a devastating clinical condition that disrupts the life cycle of patients and their families. This seminar will provide a clinical perspective on the impact of spinal cord injury on patients. The focus will be to highlight clinical cases and provide a historical review of treatment strategies and their clinical significance. The presentation will discuss current statistics, treatment algorithms, and outcomes data.
