Use of Literature Review in Public Health/Scientific Writing

Event Description
In this workshop created specifically for public health students, Professors Dan Driscoll and Vincent Williams will be facilitating the use of a literature review as it pertains to Public Health and Scientific Writing, including the purpose of a literature review in these fields, understanding the rhetorical function of literature review, and comparing literature reviews from different disciplines. During the session, examples of peer-reviewed literature reviews in these fields will be distributed, and students will engage in an activity with the provided materials. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, February 17th, from 12-1:30pm in Nesbitt Hall, Ruth Auditorium.
