The Steinbright Career Development Center will co-host a panel with the student organization, Latinos On Fast Track. At the event, students will talk about their co-op experiences (found both through the SCDC system and independent searches). The panel will focus on the integration of the Latino community in the workplace as well as other questions relating the co-op process.

 

LOFT is workforce and leadership development for STEM, finance, entrepreneurship, public policy, education, entertainment, media and social innovation majors in the Latino community. The organization is open to all undergraduate and graduate students. Resources such as fellowships, scholarship, certifications, volunteer opportunities, internships outside of Drexel co-op system, research experience for undergraduates (REUs), graduate and medical school opportunities, and conferences/symposiums are available.

 

The LOFT students will be talking about their co-op experiences at the following companies and government agencies:

• The Philadelphia Water Department

• National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
