Join A Healthier U for a fitness workshop facilitated by Drexel Recreation Center staffers, Joe Giandonato and Melisa Gebizlioglu.
A light lunch will be served. RSVP required.

In this workshop, participants will:
-Have a number of commonly held fitness myths debunked for them.
-Learn about the benefits of resistance training.
-Be provided strategies to manage stress
Joe Giandonato, MBA, MS, CSCS presently serves as the Manager of Health Promotion at the Drexel Recreation Center, where he oversees recreational fitness programming, including the delivery of personal training services offered through Proactive Health. Giandonato has amassed a combined 15 years of experience in the fields of population health, employee wellness, strength and conditioning, and collegiate recreation.
Melisa Gebizlioglu, MPH, ACSM EP-C is a fitness specialist at the Drexel Recreation Center, a position she’s held since commencing her graduate studies in Public Health at Drexel. Melisa, who holds a BS in Exercise Physiology from Rutgers University, is certified as an exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. Melisa also serves as a health coach at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she assists with a number of patient care initiatives. |
