Event Description The Drexel Robotics club, along with ASME, IEEE, and dLab, is sponsoring a student design competition on Wednesday, February 13 in Randell 327. Students will break into groups and be presented with a problem statement (to be announced at the event). Teams will then have thirty minutes to develop a plan for a machine or robot that will serve as a solution. A panel of graduate student judges will award $50 to the First place team. Food will be provided. This event is free and open to the public. The Drexel Robotics Club is a community based organization with a focus on learning technology. Many meetings are workshop oriented; future workshops will be based on microcontrollers, intro to electronics, and intro to programming. The club also serves as a venue for meeting students who will assist in the design and building process for self-initiated projects, and for students to join ongoing projects. No matter what your experience level is, Drexel Robotics Club has a role for anyone.
