The toxic family of chemicals known as PFAS are widespread in consumer products and drinking water in the Philadelphia region and across the U.S. PFAS are linked to serious health issues such as cancer and thyroid disease. The EPA just announced its action plan to address PFAS and protect public health, but does it go far enough to address this decades-old concern? Join us in a free, informal conversation with Academy scientists and other experts as we discuss what this means for us.
