Dragon Hackers General Body Meeting w/ Guest Speaker Dave Voyles from Microsoft
Dragon Hackers is a new organization (www.DragonHackers.org).
Their goal is to spread awareness of the benefits of attending Hackathons and technical conferences and guide you as to how to acquire funding to travel around the country to attend these events as a group!

We are excited to we welcome our guest speaker Dave Voyles, a Senior Evangelist from Microsoft who happens to be a hackathon connoisseur, at our meeting!
What are we?
Dragon Hackers is a club that promotes technological innovation and entrepreneurship by organizing monthly workshops. We also participate in technology conferences and Hackathons across the country. Drexel Hackers tries to ensure a safe environment for creators to explore technologies and participate in educational events to represent Drexel University. Dragon Hackers has become a official recognized organization in the fall of 2015 and we hope to be one of the biggest organizations at Drexel University. We have hope to have a long lasting impact on Drexel’s Tech community.
Information about this meeting:
We have a guest speaker from Microsoft who is also a hackathon connoisseur who will be talking about the importance of hackathons and what you can get out of it. The goal for this organization is to expose participants to events around the world and help find funding to be able to attend these events. Hackathons are a great way to make connections, gain knowledge and get your potential next Co-op. In this meeting we will be exampling the goals we plan to achieve with this event and the general logistics of Dragon Hackers.
