Event Description

The Center for Firefighter Injury Research and Safety Trends (FIRST) is proud to present the 2023 class of Fire service Injury Research, Epidemiology, & Evaluation (FIRE) Fellows and announce the joint Reflection Event & Information Session.

Hear from the 8th class of FIRE Fellows as they reflect on their experiences with developing a workplace violence prevention (WPV) course and a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) toolkit for first responders.

This event will also announce open applications for the upcoming 2024 FIRE Fellowship. First and second-year graduate students, as well as doctoral students, are encouraged to attend this dual event for more information about the Fellowship and how to apply.
