Learning Objectives
- Define new concepts regarding the etiology and pathology of Kawasaki disease
- Demonstrate familiarity with diagnostic criteria and dilemmas, and implement prompt acute management, including those resistant to initial IVIG therapy for Kawasaki disease
- Discuss the new long-term management algorithm in the recent AHA guidelines for Kawasaki disease
