Event Description
Ascend is a premier non-profit professional association that enables its members, corporate partners,and the community to realize the leadership potential of Pan-Asians in global corporations. From the date of establishment, Ascend has reached 15,000 people with 27 student chapters and 15 professional chapters located in both the U.S. and Canada around major business hubs and campuses. Our members include corporate executives, managers, professionals and students.
This year, it is a great honor for Ascend Philadelphia, New Jersey Professional Chapters, Drexel and Temple Student Chapter to host Jeff Chin - one of the founders and National president of Ascend. We will have a chance to learn about the origin and future of Ascend, the Ascend New York regional conference and the national convention in Los Angeles. A panel discussion will be held for students and professionals to discuss how to inspire Ascend spirit across generations. Students will also have the opportunity to receive advice and mentorship from Ascend senior executives and leaders.
The panel discussion will be followed by a networking session for students to learn more about the companies in attendance as well as upcoming internship opportunities.
We will have representatives from prestigious companies such as E&Y, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, Grant Thornton, Johnson & Johnson and many more!, etc. Leadership representatives from Drexel’s Lebow College of Business and Drexel’s Accounting Department will also be in attendance.
