Viewing a Cyber Event from the C Suite
Within the modern urban environment’s critical infrastructure, public companies and private networks are all vulnerable to nefarious cyber threats. These threats can mean the loss of private financial and privileged information, or worse, potential tampering with the supervisory control and data acquisition systems that run our essential industrial base. Increasingly, the distinctions between the virtual and real world environments are being blurred and programs are required that appreciate this evolving and dynamic landscape.
Those in the C-Suite need to facilitate the advancement of critical infrastructure protection and incident response. Today’s approach needs to extend beyond the traditional wired network in analyzing the universal dependence of ubiquitous mobile communications, social media, sensors, and ways to exploit the big data-enabled revolution taking place in information. Our panel of experts will address national cyber-based threats, and what is needed today to counter emerging threats and risk, and seeking opportunities that professional cyber risk management and enforcement present.
