In an effort to provide more opportunities for people to share their work with the university community, the Online Learning Council’s second Town Hall of the year will be a speed dating format. If you haven’t experienced this format before, it is a cross between a presentation and a poster session.

 

Presenters get to speak about their work five (5) times in a condensed ten-minute format. It helps them summarize and encapsulate their work.

Attendees get to select five (5) presentations from a wide variety and meet the presenters in a more individualized format than during a traditional paper presentation. They get to ask questions in a small group setting that is more intimate than a larger conference hall.

Online community members will be able to watch five (5) of the presentations in real time and recordings of all presentations to watch on demand after the Town Hall has concluded.
