Come hear about research projects in some of the most extreme environments on Earth. Learn the role supraglacial lakes play in the demise of Himalayan debris-covered glaciers; how black carbon affects the melting of snow and ice in the high alpine as well as polar regions; and what it was like to be a guinea pig for a NASA 30-day isolation/confinement experiment.
