Event Description
The Institute for Women's Health and Leadership invites all members of the
Drexel community to a university-wide Sex and Gender Research Forum on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in Gerri C. LeBow Hall Room 220. This interactive program, held on International Women's Day, will highlight Drexel's interdisciplinary research focused on sex and gender in a local, national, and global context. The event will also include two prominent keynote speakers who will address current sex and gender issues.
Registration will be available in January 2018.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
All Drexel researchers (faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, professional students, postdocs/residents/fellows), who are working on sex
and/or gender-related projects are encouraged to attend and are invited to submit abstracts for presentations at the event.
Presentation options include:
- Research Presentation (10-minute presentation)
- Flash talk (4-minute presentation)
- Virtual poster (Poster to be presented in electronic format; Displayed throughout the day at the event and online during/after the event)
Abstracts (250 words) will be accepted until Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:59pm. Presenters will be notified of acceptance by mid-January 2018. Registration for the forum will be available in January 2018. Registration is free and will include a light breakfast and lunch. Awards for student submissions will be given.
