International Student Career Week - OPT Workshop

Event Description
The Office of International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS) and the Steinbright Career Development Center are collaborating to present International Student Career Week from March 12th – 16th, 2012. Throughout the week ten different workshops will be presented to assist both undergraduate and graduate international students with topics specific to their job search.

Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a period during which undergraduate and graduate students with F-1 status are permitted to work for at most one year on a student visa. This workshop will explain the technical aspects of OPT and also discuss the differences between OPT and Curricular Practical Training (CPT).
