International Student Career Week - Expectations in the Workplace

Event Description
The Office of International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS) and the Steinbright Career Development Center are collaborating to present International Student Career Week from March 12th – 16th, 2012. Throughout the week ten different workshops will be presented to assist both undergraduate and graduate international students with topics specific to their job search.

International students encounter many new experiences in adjusting to the differences between home and the United States. Just as there are academic adjustments, there are also cultural differences in the workplace. This workshop will examine work related situations and discuss strategies for success on the job.
