Event Description
Finland’s Jean Sibelius and America’s George
Gershwin could not be more different composers
in terms of the content of their output as
composers. However, both had tremendous
impact upon the direction of their respective
countries’ art music. Featured on this concert
will be the 4th annual University Orchestra
Solo Competition winner.
