Event Description
The CASTLE Pedagogical Happy Hour is a monthly program hosted by the Center for the Advancement of STEM Teaching and Learning Excellence (CASTLE) and sponsored by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI). The is aimed to provide Drexel faculty with an opportunity to discuss effective teaching practices in their classrooms.

The event offers a casual environment for faculty to share ideas about STEM teaching and learning; while enjoying refreshments.

On Thursday, March 23rd, we will host a Pedagogical Happy Hour with Christina Love, PhD,
Assistant Teaching Professor with the Department of Physics. Christina will speak about the program, "Start Talking Science," where STEM researchers present posters detailing their research to a general audience.

The program works to foster insightful conversations and connections, and increase public interest in the cutting-edge research taking place right here in Philadelphia.
