Event Description
The Drexel Amateur Radio Club is holding an exam session open to the general public. Drexel students, faculty and staff are encouraged to come out.
For $20, individuals can take the required exams for technician, general and extra license classes. Each license class grants more privileges, with technician being the first license. Upon successful completion of the technician exam, the individual is registered with the FCC and is given a call-sign.

It is good on a resume, a fun way to communicate with people all over the world, and good for emergency preparedness.
Bring a pen and at least two pencils to the exam. The use of a scientific calculator will be allowed. You may not use cell phones, graphing calculators or any device with communication or data saving capabilities.
If paying by cash, bring $20 cash to the exam session. If paying by check, bring a check for $15 to the exam along with $5 in cash. Checks are payable to ARRL/VEC.
***You may take each exam as you pass, at the same session, without paying additional fees. If you are prepared, you can go from no license to general or extra in the same session.***
