Women's Herstory Month: Beijing +20 an International Women’s Day Discussion

Event Description

This year's International Women's Day theme is "make it happen," encouraging effective action for advancing and recognizing women.

The Beijing Platform for Action, now 20 years old, remains a powerful source of guidance and inspiration and rallies people around gender equality and women's empowerment. The panel discussion will reflect on how the Platform for Action has helped to facilitate change around the world over the past twenty years as well as reflect on how far we have come and how far we still need to go to "make it happen" and achieve gender equality.
