End Date: 3/7/2012End Time: 7:00 PM

Event Description
The Drexel BS in Engineering student organization is sponsoring a speaker, Professor Tart from the Earle Mack Law school on Wednesday March 7 at 6pm in Bossone's Mitchell Auditorium (1st floor). Professor Tart will be speaking about SOPA/PIPA and existing laws that are in place to protect intellectual property. SOPA is an acronym for the Stop Online Piracy Act, a proposed bill that aims to crack down on copyright infringement by restricting access to sites that host or facilitate the trading of pirated content. Come be part of the discussion about SOPA and PIPA, why they're controversial, and how they would change the digital landscape if they became law.
