  • Identify the six domains of life balance
  • Recommend practical strategies to sustain life balance and combat burnout

12 – 1 p.m., Wellness Presentation for Trainees:
Finding the Perfect Job: What They Don’t Teach You in Residency or Fellowship
Audience: Residents/Fellows/Students

  • Recognize your personal values regarding clinical work and how they define what you should look for in a job
  • Examine and compare the truth about private vs academic jobs in medicine
  • Review effective job search strategies
  • Evaluate the pluses and negotiate the minuses of your job offer
  • Prepare to start on the right footing and maximize your career satisfaction
