Event Description Drexel University’s Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Naturally Sharp is proud to present their eighth annual Coffee and Jazz Concert. Naturally Sharp will perform a selection of big band standards along with contemporary jazz tunes. Audiences can enjoy the concert while dining on complimentary dessert bars and gourmet cookies, along with coffee, tea, and lemonade.
This year’s performance will include standard jazz repertoire including Duke Ellington and Cole Porter, in addition to recent song arrangements of the New York Voices.
Naturally Sharp is an auditioned group of 15 singers that perform in formal eveningwear with a three-piece back-up band. The group performs “anything that swings,” with songs selected from the last 100 years of vocal jazz favorites.
The Coffee and Jazz Concert will take place on Friday-Saturday, April 25-26 at 8:15 PM. This annual concert will be held in the CityView room on the 6th floor of MacAlister Hall (3250 Chestnut St.). Tickets to this event are $7 and will be sold at the door. |
