Event Description

This workshop will cover the basics of databases - some background and theory followed by live demos and exercises (bring a laptop).

We will discuss the SQL language, differences between various database types, examples of good design and next steps for those looking to learn more.

We will focus on traditional relational systems but also discuss NoSQL databases such as Mongo.
