Event Description

Startups need to be very careful about the hiring of interns, contractors and minors. Employment law, government regulations and IRS regulations all have something to say about this. Learn how to avoid common pitfalls that could harm your startup as you grow.

You'll also hear about professional employer organizations (PEO's) which are firms that provide a service under which an employer can outsource employee management tasks, such as employee benefits, payroll and workers' compensation, recruiting, risk/safety management, and training and development.
