Description
The goal of the conference is to give physicians in clinical practice the basic tools to diagnose and treat Lyme disease and associated diseases, including complicating factors; options for testing; diagnosis and treatment challenges; case studies; less recognized manifestations; and enhanced knowledge sharing between researchers, tick-borne disease experts and front-line practitioners. The event is cohosted by the Department of Microbiology & Immunology and the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society.
Target Audience
MDs, DOs, NDs, DMDs, DVMs, PhDs, PsyDs, RNs, NPs, PAs, LCSWs, DCs and select alternative medicine providers.
Anyone with a valid Drexel ID will be admitted to the conference at no charge. Non-Drexel medical students, residents or interns may register at a discounted rate, but must show proof of full-time student status in an MD or DO program. Non-medical professional registrants accepted as space permits (approved by conference leadership) and must pay full rate.
