Event Description The death of Freddie Gray have left many searching for answers. As the events in Baltimore unfold, there are mounting questions about our communities, responsibilities and role in a solution.
Students are invited to an open discussion, in a safe space, to express concerns, frustrations and questions. This discussion is meant to create a constructive dialogue so students will be able to work through and process their feelings amidst the media’s conflicting information and opposing viewpoints.
This discussion is for students only and will be facilitated by professors George Ciccariello-Maher and Andre Carrington.
Co-sponsored by The Student Center for Inclusion and Culture (SCIC), the Africana Studies program, and the Lindy Center for Civic Engagement.
Be sure to bring your Dragon Card to access the building. |
