Event Description Human Resources will host the 5th Annual Black History Closing Luncheon in Behrakis Grand Hall in Creese Student Center on February 28th from 12noon-1pm. It will be a celebration of African cultures—music, dance, crafts, culture and cuisine. Featuring a live performance and visual multimedia program by Key Arts Production, Soul Sounds, takes a “hip trip”through the evolution of African American music.
Local vendors will provide unique African gifts, African masks, clothing, arts, crafts, jewelry, books and more available for purchase from 11:30 am - 12noon and 1 - 1:30 pm.
Faculty and Professional Staff Members of all cultures are encouraged to wear African attire. Please be sure that your outfit is appropriate for the work environment. If in doubt, don't wear it out.
