- Understand the principals and mechanism of action of spinal cord stimulation (stims).
- Understand the principals and mechanisms of action of intrathecal drug delivery systems (pumps).
- Screen suitable patients for spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery systems.
- Discuss the potential complications associated with each of these advanced pain management modalities.
