Event Description

On April 10, 2019, Drexel University College of Arts and Sciences will proudly welcome its 2019 Distinguished Lecturer, Terry Gross, host of the Peabody Award-winning public radio program “Fresh Air.” Her lecture, titled “All I Did Was Ask: An Evening with Terry Gross,” will offer a behind-the-mic glimpse of her innovative and hugely popular radio show.

Recounting stories with entertaining clips of successful interviews — as well as tales of particularly disastrous interviews — Gross will share a side of herself that her listeners rarely hear. The audience will have the opportunity to turn the tables on NPR’s foremost interviewer during the Q&A that follows.

It is broadcast on more than 624 NPR stations across the country, as well as on Europe’s World Radio Network, with nearly 5 million listeners.
