Event Description
In the midst of the social upheaval brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we find ourselves isolating, social distancing, and finding new methods to spend quality time with friends and family. Uncertain as to when social spaces will once again be open, we'll spend time unpacking what community means without physically communing and the future of community once shelter in place orders are lifted.
The Pennoni Honors College, in partnership with the Thomas R. Kline School of Law, hosts monthly discussions at the Kline Institute of Trial Advocacy in Center City in order for members of the Philadelphia community to gather, listen, and exchange ideas and perspectives regarding current events and issues. Due to COVID-19 restrictions on large groups gathering and Philadelphia Mayor Kenney’s shelter-in-place mandates, Pennoni Honors College plans to hold its next discussion group online on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
