A Cretan Green Story: From Kazantzakis to Vlahakis

Event Description

Dr. Maria Hnaraki, director of Greek Studies, invites you to an ecofriendly evening:

  • 5:00 pm: The Terrestrial Gospel, a book presentation and signing by Professor Thanasis Maskaleris, marking the 130 years of Nikos Kazantzakis’s birth
  • 6:00 pm: A Green Story screening, a film about the life journey and entrepreneurial success of Dr. Van Vlahakis, founder and CEO of Ecos-Earth Friendly Products, *present* for Q/A along with EFP Vice President Ms. Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks

In commemoration of late Drexel President Dr. Constantine Papadakis (1946-2009).

Food reception at the conclusion of the event. Refreshments served between the book presentation and the movie screening.
