Event Description

The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Department of Medicine, is hosting its Fifth National Forum on Women’s Issues in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, April 17 – 19, 2015, at the Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia. Asyia Ahmad, MD, MPH, associate professor of medicine and chief, Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, is program director. Barbara Frank, MD, MACG, FASGE, professor of medicine, Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology is co-director.

Nationally recognized faculty from around the United States will speak on gender-related issues in gastroenterology, including IBD, endoscopy, liver disease, motility disorders, nutrition and obesity.

Up to 10 travel grants are available for trainees who submit an abstract for poster presentation. You may view the full brochure and register online.
