Celebrate Africa: Mapinduzi

Event Description
 Join the Drexel African Students Association (DASA) for our Annual Gala. As a progression from last year's Gala theme, "Mbeleni" meaning "The Future", we believe that Africa as a continent is finally ready to tackle its shortcomings headlong. And that calls for a huge celebration of the realization of this huge Revolution, the theme of this year's Gala "Mapinduzi" that is taking place across all borders in Africa. Come and celebrate with us.
 
This year's Gala features: An authentic African cuisine from various parts of the continent A multi-cultural fashion show that fuses African and Western ideals An exciting dance production (or more) and much more. Plus Foxy P is co-hosting the Gala!
 
Tickets cost $12 online at http://drexeldasa.ticketleap.com/ and $15 at the door 
 
Red Carpet opens at 6:30 p.m.
Show starts at 7 p.m.
