GLOBAL EDUCATION IN A POST-NATIONALIST WORLD
a panel discussion on trends in global education
Global and international education experts will discuss the continued importance of international education and exchanges of students, teachers and scholars as soft diplomacy. Contemporary opportunities and challenges for governments, universities and individuals will be also explored. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Drexel’s global and international education programs. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Rebecca Clothey, PhD Assistant Professor
Dr. Rebecca Clothey has been a full-time faculty member in Drexel University’s School of Education since 2006. Dr. Clothey has lived in Bosnia-Herzegovina where she did post-war election training, and in China for six years working at various higher education institutions around the country.
Kristy Kelly, PhD Assistant Clinical Professor
Dr. Kristy Kelly joined the Drexel University faculty in 2012. In addition to her role at Drexel, Dr. Kelley is affiliated with the Weatherhead East Asian Institute at Columbia University, serves as an Expert Advisor to the United Nations, and is Fulbright Core Specialist on Gender Equality.
