“The Ebola Crisis:  Lessons Learned”
W. Lance Plyler, MD

Dr. Plyler served as the physician in charge of the critical situation regarding the survival of Dr. Ken Brantly and Nurse Nancy Writebol.  He discusses the evolution of the Ebola crisis in West Africa from an historical and epidemiological perspective.  Dr. Plyler also plans to address the conventional medical management of Ebola as well as novel therapies and vaccines.
