Event Description
The Philadelphia Immunization Coalition strives to bring the Philadelphia community the best quality information on immunizations from national, regional and local perspectives and is inclusive of all health professionals and members of the community interested in immunizations.
The goal of this workshop is to provide information on:
- Disease prevention through immunization
- Increasing immunization rates / improving missed opportunities
- Identifying unprotected people and closing the gaps in immunization disparities
- Answering parent / patient questions about vaccines
- Risk management and safety considerations
- Current immunization schedule and hot topic issues
- Networking and educational information

This event is open to the public. PIC asks for a $10 cash donation at the door to help cover food and conference supplies. Continuing medical education and continuing nursing education credits will be available. |
