Event Description

The success of Bernie Sanders' campaign is confirming what polls have shown for years: Millions of Americans think socialism is better than capitalism. But what is socialism and what will it take to make it a reality? Author, activist and political humorist Danny Katch will answer these and other questions as he discusses his new book "Socialism...Seriously: A Brief Guide to Human Liberation."

Katch is a New-York-City-based writer whose articles have appeared in Truth-Out, ZNet, the New York Daily News, and the Socialist Worker. His previous book, "America's Got Democracy," has garnered significant praise for its mix of humor and serious political analysis.
