Event Description
The inaugural Frank H. Netter Symposium on Arts and Health, hosted by Thomas Jefferson University in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Fleisher Art Memorial, and sponsored by Elsevier, is an opportunity to explore the role of the arts in health — from observation training to burnout prevention — with health care students, faculty and trainees, artists and arts professionals.
This event is part of the 2016-2017 Dr. Yoshihisa Asano Humanities & Health Series, which focuses on the theme of compassion. Throughout the academic year, featured programs and events will promote development of compassion for the people, patients and communities Jefferson students will serve and impact throughout their careers as health practitioners and researchers.
