End Date: 4/21/2018End Time: 6:00 PM

Event Description
About the Organization: We are the ACT-SO (Afro-Academic Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics) committee of the Philadelphia National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). The NAACP's mission is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.

Service Description: To that end, ACT-SO is an academic competition for African-American high school students. Students compete in 31 categories ranging from dance to biology, and display their projects or performances at our main event on Saturday, April 21st. We are seeking volunteers for that day, 9 AM to 6 PM, to assist with the logistics of putting on the event.
