Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify causes and differentiate patterns of physician distress including burnout, vicarious trauma and
depression
- Explain major findings associated with mindfulness and other self-regulation practices relevant to physician resilience
- Practice two brief self-regulation practices shown to reduce distress and support resilience
Target Audience
Attending physicians, referring physicians, nursing staff, residents, students and other health care professionals who care for children.
