Event Description
Drexel University’s American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) student chapter is hosting the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Region Student Conference.

Friday, April 22nd – Sunday, April 24th, 2016

Eighteen ASCE Student Conferences are held every spring. Drexel University will be hosting schools from the Mid-Atlantic Region, where teams will compete to represent the region in the National competition, held this year at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Over 250 students from 16 different Universities in the PA, MD, and DE area participate in this 3-day conference. The hosting student chapter has the great honor of showcasing our profession, our city, our sponsors, and our University.

Typical student conferences include the following events:
• Concrete Canoe Competition
• Steel Bridge Competition
• Geowall Competition
• Technical Paper Competition
• Social Activities
