Event Description
Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month is a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders, their histories, cultures and achievements. The term "Asian Pacific" is rather broad and encompasses the entire Asian continent and the Pacific islands of Melanesia. Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month originated in June 1977 through a congressional bill and has been celebrated in the month of May every year since. At Drexel we celebrate this important month in April. Click here for more information.
